Darla the Sheep
A Storybook Character in clay
Welcome to Darla’s world.
Unlike a traditional storybook, Darla’s adventures are found on pieces of handmade pottery. The images are made of liquid clay, applied free-hand to the surface of the pottery form.
Darla has been known to mingle with Indian Runner ducks, join forces with rabbits, stumble upon downed fences, and take time to distrust the flowers. Her story continues to be written as she appears in difference scenes, and she invites your imagination as she lives out her curious farm life days.
Darla pieces are finished in the Moonlight glaze and can be found at The Pottery Stand on Courtney Way as they are available.
